Brachymorphism-onychodysplasia-dysphalangism syndrome

Brachymorphism-onychodysplasia-dysphalangism (BOD) syndrome is a very rare condition that affects the development of the bones and nails. People with this syndrome typically have short stature and unique facial features, including a wide mouth and broad nose. The syndrome is also marked by underdevelopment (hypoplasia) of the fifth digits and abnormal nail formation. In addition to these physical characteristics, individuals with BOD syndrome may experience mild intellectual challenges.
