Meigs syndrome

Meigs syndrome is a rare condition that mainly affects females. It is characterized by the buildup of fluid in the chest, known as pleural effusion, and in the abdomen, known as ascites. Additionally, there is a non-malignant tumor on the ovary. Although these symptoms can sound concerning, the syndrome usually follows a benign course.
