Hypochondroplasia is a skeletal growth disorder that primarily affects the bones of the arms, legs, and spine, leading to disproportionate short stature. Most individuals with hypochondroplasia enjoy a normal life span and good overall health, although short stature and orthopedic concerns can affect daily life and self-image.
