Hearing tests should be repeated over time, and hearing aids or other assistive devices introduced promptly if impairment is detected. Orthopedic evaluation can guide care for joint hypermobility or limb differences. Because the condition affects several body systems, most families benefit from care coordinated by a multidisciplinary team that may include genetics, neurology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, endocrinology, and developmental specialists. Regular surveillance allows the team to detect emerging complications early and adjust interventions as needs evolve.
